Proud to Participate in my Community

I have been a proud resident of Forsyth County since 1998.  I moved to the county after graduating from the University of Georgia, and here I was fortunate enough to meet my wife (who has deep roots in the county) and marry her in 2001.  I have a son who attends Chestatee Elementary School, where my wife teaches, and a daughter who attends Little Mill Middle School.  I have spent my time in Forsyth County building and renovating homes, managing rental properties, and investing in real estate.

Forsyth County has been good to me and I have tried to return the favor by being involved in the community.  I am a member of the North Forsyth 400 Rotary Club.  I attend Cumming First Baptist Church.  I participate in the local schools as a Mentor, as a Watchdog Dad Volunteer, and as a member of the Local School Council.  I am also on the board of Forsyth Parks Foundation, a charitable foundation that offers scholarships for underprivileged youth to participate in our county’s park programs.

I also serve the citizens of Forsyth County as member of the Board of Equalization, a position I have held since 2014, and I have served as a member of the Forsyth County Subarea Plan Advisory Committee from 2017-2019.  Last year I was appointed to the Consumer Advisory Task Force for Sawnee EMC for District 3, Cumming.
